Saint Vincent de Paul’s Feast Day is Friday, September 27th. The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul’s is a lay organization that offers person-to-person service to the needy and suffering. St. Edward’s and Saint Paul’s organization is called Saint Rose of Lima Conference. We are now one of the 4,400 plus conferences in the world. As one of our projects we will have an old fashion poor box placed in each church. You can drop in your loose change, or there are envelopes that you can fill out to place your donation in so that you can receive a tax credit. Every penny that is donated goes to our neighbors in need. We are the safety net when there is no one else to go to. If you are interested in joining us we meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month. As in the gospel story today Lazarus helped his neighbor. Let us all be good neighbors.
